During my stay at Shetland Cottage, I was amazed by the breathtaking views and the tranquil atmosphere. The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning wildlife and a peaceful ambiance. The cottage itself was spotless and cozy, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. I especially loved the beautiful paintings displayed throughout the rooms, adding a homely touch. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, providing helpful information and quick responses to inquiries. The cottage also had WiFi, DVDs, books, and games, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I can't recommend this lovely cottage enough. It truly made my trip to Scotland unforgettable.
Although the cottage was fantastic in many aspects, there were a couple of drawbacks. The cottage felt a bit cold and damp, and the electric heating was quite expensive to keep at a comfortable temperature.

Lovely little garden with a barbecue, perfect for pretending I'm a master chef. Breathtaking mountain views while scrolling through my social media using the free WiFi. How adventurous, I did some hiking and skiing!
Oh, how I enjoyed the pleasure of bringing my own towels to the holiday home. So convenient.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this mind-blowing cottage in a jaw-dropping setting. It was super well-equipped for a 7-day stay and had been deep cleaned before our arrival. The area is just gorgeous, next to a wildlife park and easily accessible off the main road. Very peaceful and tranquil. The owner is incredibly personable, helpful, and courteous. The best dog-friendly place we've ever stayed in. The cottage itself is spotless, warm, comfortable, and cosy. Fully equipped kitchen, with a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi for entertainment. The bedrooms have the comfiest beds, and the cottage had lovely views of the private garden. The owner's beautiful paintings added to the homely feel. Very hospitable services, with quick responses to inquiries and informative pre-arrival information. We wished we stayed longer than 7 days and highly recommend this incredible cottage to everyone considering a stay in the area.

My recent stay at Shetland Cottage was absolutely delightful. The owner's personal touch was evident throughout, with beautiful original artwork displayed in every room. The beds, bedding, and towels were all spotlessly clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed cozying up on the big couch for a family movie night and playing the provided board games. The broadband connection was also a hit, especially with our daughter. The private garden was a lovely space to unwind and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. It was a bonus that the cost of electricity was included in the price, considering the previous experience of paying for it separately. The kitchen had good facilities, and the lounge area was comfortable. I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at Shetland Cottage.
